Ministries
Acts 2 tells us that the early church “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” At Vacaville Bible Church, our desire is to follow that same biblical pattern by centering our lives and ministries on God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship through baptism and the Lord’s table. We also seek to faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and make disciples of all the nations, both in Vacaville and around the world.
Ministry of the Word
The ministry of God’s Word, both in public and in private, is God’s primary means to grow His people toward Christlikeness. We desire to grow in our knowledge of, our love for, and our obedience to God’s Word.
Sunday School for All Ages
Interactive Bible-teaching time, covering topics like theology, church history, and practical Christian living
Worship Service
Christ-centered worship culminating in the expository preaching of God’s Word
Christian Life Seminar
Practical discussions, question-and-answer, and Scripture reading through books of the Bible, designed to strengthen the believer’s walk throughout the week
Men’s and Ladies’ Bible Studies
In-depth, discussion-based study through books of the Bible, with practical application to the unique challenges facing men and women
Ministry of Fellowship
The ministry of fellowship is the outward display of the unity believers share in Christ. We seek to walk together in love, to care for each other, to share each other’s joys and sorrows, and to stir each other to love and good works.

Ministry of Prayer
Prayer is fundamentally fellowship with God. We believe it is essential in the lives of believers, both privately and corporately. We desire to demonstrate a commitment of coming boldly before God’s throne of grace.

Weekly corporate prayer times, both in person and online

Occasional times of corporate prayer on the Lord’s Day

An entire week set aside for private and corporate prayer
Ministry of Discipleship
The ministry of discipleship includes the worldwide proclamation of the Gospel. We believe evangelism is followed by the ongoing discipleship of those who have believed on Christ. We desire to be used of God to make and mature disciples in Vacaville and around the world.
